The Department of IL is Pleased to offer No cost Life time membership to any eligible Purple Heart recipient. Their family members may be eligible for a free membership through direct lineage or marriage, to either the Ladies Auxiliary or the Associate organization. This is a limited offering, expiring by June 1st, 2009. They may contact either Dan Finn Commander State of IL Military Order of the Purple Heart Organization & or Christina Finn President State of IL Ladies Auxiliary MOPH. We are an active productive organization of "Combat Wounded Veterans," Supporting the Troops, Veterans and Gold Star Families.

An organization now known as the "Military Order of the Purple Heart," was formed in 1932 for the protection and mutual interest of all who have received the decoration. Composed exclusively of Purple Heart recipients, it is the only veterans service organization comprised strictly of "combat" veterans.
The Military Order of the Purple Heart Organization local Chicago land Edmund Reczek Chapter #575 is proud to introduce you to our membership. This group of Brave Purple Heart recipients from multiple generations is looking to enlarge its involved Patriot base. With your involvement we can make a difference and Welcome Home this current generation of American Heroes. Everyone knows what it is like to retire or separate from their unit of Battle buddies disbursing into our communities. These monthly meetings and Special events offer us a way to stay connected. The Chapter is active in visiting the patients in both the VA Hospitals and Veterans’ extended care facilities! We have several projects in the works and would love to have your ideas, suggestions and input!
The Members of both the Military Order of the Purple Heart group and their support Auxiliary would like to extend a Warm Welcome to anyone who qualifies through their National MOPH membership.
