Batavia Cares Supports Our Troops

Coordinates support activies of individuals and organizations.

Identifies deployed troops and links them with individual and organizations.

Connects individuals with troops through a "Pen Pal" program.

Trains individuals and organizations in selecting items and packing "comfort items" for troops serving overseas.

Publishes a newsletter about organizations supporting our troops.

Batavia Cares is not affilated with VFW Post 1197 or American Legion Post 82. Batavia Cares does work with the VFW, American Legion, Am Vets, Operation Purple Heart and other veteran's organizations for the benefit of the military and their families.

HELP WITH POSTAGE

The postage on each box is approxiamately $12.50. Contribution from citizens, organizations, unions, church etc help us to ship these packages to our troops. You can help by sending a check to: Marmion Academy, 1000 Butterfield Rd., Aurora, IL 60502 in the memo put Troop Packages. Please include you name and address so that we can send you the newsletter which contains letters, pictures and e-mails from the troops.
